Marathon Heater, Inc. was founded in 1996, with 3 employees and one product, cartridge heaters. Our commitment to customer service and engineering support has brought rapid growth. In 2002 we were selected by Inc. magazine as one of the 500 fastest growing privately held companies in the United States. Marathon currently has 3 manufacturing locations, our 40,000 square foot headquarters in Del Rio, TX, a 40,000 square foot division in Brownsville, Tennessee, and a 12,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Udaipur, India to service our eastern hemisphere customers.

Marathon Heater Inc. has combined efforts with Tempsens Instruments, which is the largest temperature sensors manufacturer in India with over 35 years experience in temperature measurement. Both together started a new company; Marathon Heater (India) Pvt. Ltd. with a 50:50 percent partnership to manufacture high quality Industrial heaters , such as Cartridge heaters, Nozzle heaters, Air heaters, Silicon Rubber heaters, Band Heaters, Coil heaters and other heating elements in India as well as overseas market.
Marathon Heater (India) Pvt. Ltd is equipped with highly sophisticated machinery and equipment, imported from the US, to meet the high quality standards and specifications required by our customers.
